Philippine Nash Hash 2017

Philippine Nash Hash 2017Philippine Nash Hash 2017

Cebu H3 was proud to be accepted as the venue for the Philippine Nash Hash 2017, despite possible transport and accommodation problems.

Cebu H3 have fixed the date as the 3 day weekend starting Friday May 19TH 2017 through to Sunday May 21ST.

They are working on the host of logistics matters regarding accommodation, transport, grub, beer, etc with an aim of bringing the whole thing off within a budget of between 3,500 and 5,000 Peso.

Be aware that they may well have to put a cap on the numbers and are thinking of around 200 Hashers max.

As soon as HHH World events have got further info on this, we will post a more detailed programme with a link to registrations, stay tuned.

Payment will most likely be in Peso and probably on a single price basis.

Cebu Information for the Philippine Nash Hash 2017

Cebu H3 is close to 20 years old and is based in and around Cebu City (approximately half way up or down on the east coast of Cebu Island).

Cebu is a longish, thin island with a narrow coastal plain along each coast with a multitude of steep sided hills running south to north along its central spine.

For Hashers, this means that much of the flat land is built up or fenced in.

This leaves the hilly interior for most of our Runs. Browse the Cebu H3 website HERE to see the sort of places they regularly Hash.

Unfortunately, some of those places are a tad off the beaten track – they might not require a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get there but definitely need something with a high ground clearance (SUV, pickup, etc).

Normally, they use their own vehicles to get to the start of Runs. This can be problematical when they have a shit load of visitors to transport.

Cebu City itself has many upmarket (expensive) hotels and a wide variety of lower cost (but OK) places to stay at.

There are also a handful of large (expensive) beach resorts scattered around the island. Unfortunately, the more economical resorts are not very large.

Stay tuned and check the HHH World Events Facebook page for updates on this event.
